HISTORY

The history of IPSR is a history of sheer determination and hard work; of vision and innovation. The company was formed in 1999, with a management who dreamt of making it big in IT with its feet firmly planted in Kerala. Always blessed with great employees, the company led by Dr. Mendus Jacob made a steady path towards progress by being dedicated to quality. It is the strong realization that only industry interfaced training can add value to IT education that made this organization grow as a superior training provider. Though it started as a training institution, the company soon followed keeping this goal in mind.

Milestones

1998

• A Group of industrialists and academicians join together for a noble cause - "A New Generation IT enterprise"

1999

• At Kottayam, the land of letters, lakes & latex, the dream project is realized as Institute of Professional Studies and Research (IPSR)

2000

• The excellent performance of IPSR powered the generation of a young & matured public limited IT company called  "ipsr solutions ltd"

2001

• IPSR Group extends its reach to the "Land of Zamorins"
• I P S R  opens it's North Kerala Regional Office in Vyapara Bhavan on Bank Road at  Kozhikode

2002

IPSR moves to specially our present headquarters designed exclusively for us.

2003

• Linux & RHCE Training Center started functioning
• First RHCE exam in Kerala was conducted by IPSR

2004

• IPSR bags the prestigious National Honour, 'Red Hat GLS National Award 2004'

2005

• IPSR launches ipsr penguin planet, the exclusive division for Linux certifications
• IPSR launches "Router Dome", special division for CISCO certification courses
• IPSR bags the prestigious Red Hat GLS National Award 2005 

2006

• IPSR bags the prestigious Red Hat GLS National Award 2006
• Conducted highest number of RHCE exams in ASIA.
• 100 % score for RHCE exams

2007

• IPSR bags the prestigious Red Hat GLS National Award 2007
• Maintains Pass percentage of above 95% in RHCE exam whereas global Pass percentage is 58 - 63%
• Started IPSR IT Finishing School the division that aims to equip students to bridge the gap between academics and industry 

2008

• IPSR ventures into Educational Tourism
• IPSR bags the prestigious Red Hat GLS National Award 2008
• 1 out of 20 RHCE's in the world is an IPSRian.
• 1 out of 10 RHCE's in South  Asia is an IPSRian. 

2009

• 1 out of 4 RHCSS in the Asia Pacific is an IPSRian
• IPSR bags the prestigious Red Hat Asia Pacific International Award for learning services.
